
SHAAZ MEHBOOB
Relocated to the UK after completing MBBS where i did MBA and have been working for the NHS in a variety of senior level management positions. I completed a fellowship in quality improvement from the national institute of health research.
I have worked extensively within public health as an associate director and implemented technology based solutions to address preventive medicine with Google. During one of the international role, i facilitated the dialogue between the Agha Khan University and Royal College of General practitioners which led to the MRCGP examinations starting in Pakistan. I co-founded an anti-extremism Muslim led charity”British Muslims for secular democracy” promoting secular democracy and worked for it voluntarily as a trustee for 11 years, and has been writing in British and Pakistani papers and blogs on related issues. Currently i am the head of Delivery and transformation for NHS England implementing the largest people strategy of its kind and in the world covering 1.4 million NHS staff. I enjoy cooking, gardening and remain keen on politics.
