Dr. Kashif Ahmad


Dr. Kashif Ahmad is a professor at the first engineering-based medical school in the world (Carle Illinois College of Medicine, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign). He also teaches online for UC Berkeley Extension, serves as a consultant for Scholar Rx (USMLE First Aid textbook) and his own EduKon International. With an M.D. and Ph.D., Ahmad has fifteen years of international teaching experience in many countries including Singapore, U.K., and the United States. Ahmad embarked on his fourth degree in medical educational leadership, developing his teaching skills and leadership qualities as an educator. Highlights of his career are starting new programs from scratch, Gold Medal for his Ph.D., Young Scientist Award, Innovation In Medication Education Award, and three times “Golden Apple” highest teaching award in medical education at the University of Illinois.
